KNOW THIS, CHILD!

Precious One,

What a joyous time it is in heaven when you realize who you are in Me.  Know this, child:  You are My hope, My joy, My inheritance…you are a saint, a Christian, a believer, a child whom I love.  Don’t let this world or the people in it dissuade you from your true importance or calling.  You are only in the world a short time, your true life comes after this.

Use your time to become more of the person you will be in the life to come; serve others, develop your love for others, grow in My word and practice humility.  Do all you have to do to become more like Me.  This is your true calling and purpose.  You belong to Me!

1 Peter 1:3-5 ~ Jeremiah 15:16 ~ 1 Peter 4:10 ~ Colossians 3:12

Lord, help me realize who I am in you.  I don’t want to continue to focus on what others think of me or even what I think of myself.  You are my creator, Father and friend; you place a high value on me.  Give me the courage to see myself as you do and to live a life that reflects my value and place in your kingdom.  Amen.

IT IS FOR YOU!

My Precious One,

There are so many things I would tell you if you were available to me.  You hold yourself aloof dear one.  You keep yourself at arm’s length…what are you afraid of?  Am I not your savior, the one who lived and died and sacrificed everything for you?  It is for you I live and have My being.  It is for you that I prepare a place that is so magnificent you can’t even imagine it.

Draw near to me My child; get as close as you can.  Don’t let things in the world or in your mind keep you from Me.  Make a time, make a place, and meet me there each day.  I am always available to you no matter where you are but you are not always willing to come to Me.  If you make a time and place then it is on your mind; it is a commitment.  Will you say to Me, “Lord, it is for you I live and have my being”?

Ephesians 1:7-10 ~ John 6:57-58 ~ Galatians 2:20-21~ John 14:1-4

My Lord and savior, forgive me for putting off coming to you.  Forgive me for making you my last resort and for shunning away from a time with you.  You did everything for me, help me see you as you are and come to you as my sanctuary.  Lord in you I want to live and have my being, amen.
